Recognised off YouTube

Strange thing happened to me last week - I did start this post that very night but then forgot about it - I was in town and somebody comes up to me and says ‘I’ve seen your video on YouTube’.

Talk about brain screw.

It was such a weird experience being recognised for something I published myself instead of something I published for the BBC.

The guy comes up to me, he was in Jersey on holiday for the Branchage film festival, looks at my bag and says ‘I’ve seen your bag on YouTube’.

It was a video I made FOUR MONTHS ago called ‘My backpack goes on two shoulders’. He said it was the first thing he saw when he searched for Jersey.

He also suggested I should do a few more videos like that with my backpack in places around the island - showing off Jersey from the perspective of a backpack.

I think he might have been a little bit drunk.
