BBC Embedding
This will eventually become a full post about embedding video and audio files (on the BBC and off), what’s available to embedd and what … well isn’t.
But while I work on that – here’s a bit of Metalica from Later with Jools Holland.
Oh and a side note – Jools has now gone wide as well. In fact, looking at it – it feels like the Jools side is one of the first new music sites that draws from a mix of /programmes and the new /music (bbc.co.uk/music/beta/) although I could be wrong.
It looks good though – but maybe we could have a bit more artist info on the artist page.
Anyway – that’s a post all of its own (that I’ll try and write later today).

Yeah, I still haven’t figured out how to do this. Is it that certain clips are embeddable but not others, ie not the iPlayer shows (yet)… ?
Robert – technically you can embedd every BBC Flash based clip if you know where to look in the source code.
But not all of them make it easy for you – there are more coming online now that have an embedd option under the Share This menu on the player.
Later with Jools Holland seems to be the latest to offer that.
I’ll try and pull together a list of the ones that allow embedding when I get around to finish the post off.
