Top Gear trailers aired

Thanks to the wonder of You Tube everybody can watch the trailers for the new series of Top Gear (due to start on 22 June - although the BBC and the Radio Times haven’t quite admitted it yet).

Normally, in the pre-YouTube days you would have to have been watching television all day to catch these trailers as you never know when they’re going to be on.

These were on BBC THREE around Family Guy and some wonderful person has posted them to You Tube for everyone to see and enjoy.

Although - enjoy is a bit of a loose word as there isn’t a huge amount to them. They basically involve three blokes and a Stig sitting around a table talking bollocks.

It’s basically a mock-up of a trailer production meeting where they’re talking about what should go into it - actually instead of me describing them - just watch!

What’s so great about these trailers is that they don’t actually tell you ANYTHING about the new series - they’ve not even confirmed when it will be back so everything could happen.

I love the secrecy around a new series of Top Gear - yes we know some of the things likely to be in the new series but we don’t know EVERYTHING and we don’t know what the set will look like.

Roll on 22 June - hopefully.
