Talk to me, Talk to me

Considering I’m an overweight geek with buck teeth - I think my current drive towards video is an odd one. We’ll now I’ve added more video and you’re invited to join.

Seesmic is a service that lets you post a comment to a website with its plugin. Not unusual I hear you say - but the comment it lets you post is a quick video one from a webcam.

I first saw it in action when Robert Scoble posted a comment about him killing Twitter on Techrunch and thought it was a cool idea.

So I decided to sign up for a beta account, add it to Up Your Ego and see if it will work. The problem I think is that I have a mainly British audience and I think us Brits are more reserved about video and getting on camera.

Well I’ve now got my beta account, I’ve added the plugin and you can now click one button and post your video to Up Your Ego in response to one of my posts.

Whether anyone will or not is a completely different matter BUT whether they do or not Seesmic is a really good tool and very simple to use.

I use Blip.TV for my Video Blog but Seesmic will now allow me to have video interaction and it really is as simple as clicking record and having a webcam plugged in.
