Surfing the Earth
The latest BBC Mashed event is happening in a couple of weeks at Ally Pally in London and the goal is to create something cool from something else in 24 hours.
Well this probably took a lot more than 24 hours but it IS cool and it IS from something else. Two something elses in fact – a Wii balance board (from Wii Fit) and Google Earth.
Basically it lets you surf the Earth through Google Earth with a hacked Nintendo Wii Board. It was created by a team of researchers in Germany.
