Two weeks to Doctor Who

There are just two weeks left until the new series of Doctor Who kicks off - it will be on Saturday 5 April the day after the final episode of Torchwood series 2 airs on BBC TWO.
I’ve been so obsessed with Top Gear and Torchwood, blogging and podcasts, Stephen Fry and Harry Potter recently that Doctor Who had pretty much left my mind.
In fact I’ve had a Doctor Who book sitting at the bottom of my bag for about a month - half read and pretty battered.
So imagine my shock and well… glee when I was sitting in the kitchen about to watch Any Dream Will Do (don’t ask I love Oliver) when a trailer for the fourth series of Doctor Who comes on looking all amazing.
Anyway - god bless You Tube and all who sail in here for here is said trail - Catherine Tate and all. Oh and it looks like the first episode of the new series will be called Partners in Crime - although I’m sure you all already knew that.
Oh and wasn’t Torchwood just amazing - I loved the back stories and how they all seemed to follow a similar vein - they all fought for somebody they loved, they all lost that somebody, they all found their way (through Jack) to Torchwood.

I didn’t realise the new Doctor Who was coming this year - I’d read that there was going to be big gap between series due to David Tennant’s other projects - I’m guessing that applies to the next series.
Yeah that kicks in from next year - this will be the last full series for a couple of years. Next year there will be three or four (I can’t remember) one off specials.
