Reporting on a rally

You may have noticed that, for the past few weeks Jersey has been at the centre of a major news story. I’ve been fairly distant from the story until recently - that changed last Saturday.

A rally - part political and part rememberence vigil took place in the island - as well as around four hundred people, several speakers and a couple of States Members there were dozens of journalists, camera men and photographers.

I even found myself in the background of live reports on Sky News and BBC News 24.

So this photo is of photographers at the rally - it shows a small selection of people reporting on the event - there were many more closer to me, others on the opposite side and more still with the satellite trucks behind the crowd.
