Waiting for Summer

The sun is shining outside and, although painfully cold - sitting here in my nice warm office bathed in sunlight from the velux windows - it looks wonderful.

It’s making me daydream of the summer yet to come and long lazy lunchbreaks on the beach - sandwich in one hand, water on the floor and a book in the other hand - watching the gentle water a mile or so away (the tide goes out a long way in Jersey sometimes).

Then I remembered this video of the new Castle ferry that takes passengers from West Park in St Helier out to Elizabeth Castle. It was filmed on my mobile phone.
