Busy time

As anyone who knows what I do and where I work will have guessed - now is a bit of a busy time for me, I have little spare to write this blog - but hopefully things will start to cool off soon.

Thanks for sticking with me and I’ll try to post a few photos as and when I can - think of them as a sort of virtual version of the hold music you get on an annoying phone call to your bank.

I won’t talk about the story, about my thoughts on it or about what I’ve seen or heard over the last few days as that isn’t my place but it has been an emotionally draining few days.

If you read some of the comments and stories on this page - cutting through the political comments and reading the ones from people directly affected - you’ll see the tip of the iceberg of comments I’ve read and stories I’ve heard - when I say I - I’m not talking just about me of course and having to hear these stories is infinetly easier than having to have gone through them and continue to live with what’s happened.

By the time I get home in the evening I’m able to close my mind, sit down on the sofa, cuddle up to my wife and watch some brain numbing television - like The Palace (that’s finishing on Monday).

Anyway - that’s basically why updates may be few and far between over the next few days.
