Four songs to close your eyes to

I had the chance tonight to do something I haven’t done in a very long time - sit down on the sofa, in the dark, with my iPod on and listen to music.

This got me thinking about something - specially about the songs that are best listened to while in the dark, on a sofa with you eyes closed and no distractions.

So I decided to go through my iPod and pick the best four songs to close your eyes to. I only have an 8gb shuffle and most of it is filled with Podcasts and Audibooks so the choice was fairly limited.

But I still managed to find four songs and here they are - these are the songs I found most inspirational while sitting back doing nothing.

Joanna Newsom - This side of the Blue

The Jam - English Rose

The Clash - London Calling

Any you want to add or disagree with? I wasn’t sure about London Calling at first but when I sat back and really listened to it I realized it HAD to be in there.
