My new TV process

With the launching of BBC Television shows to buy through iTunes and the increasing usefulness of the BBC iPlayer and my increasing passion for Sky+ I have a new TV watching process.
The process is simple - FIND, NOW, LATER, GET, CATCH, PAY, SAVE.
You find a show you want to watch, you can watch it NOW when it goes out live or if you miss it catch it LATER. You can remember to Sky+ it and CATCH the show in your own time or failing that you can go and GET it from iPlayer, 4OD or ITV.com. If you miss the seven day window you could PAY to get it from iTunes.
What this does mean though is that there is no longer an excuse for missing a show I really wanted to see. The final step though is to buy the DVD when it comes out - this one is mainly for the collection.

So there you have it - the process I and many other people will go through over television decisions laid out in bloody obvious speak on a PNG graphic - I used pink because it works with black.
The main point of this though - isn’t to say Linear Television is dead - bollocks is it - people will still want to watch shows on ‘TV’ for years to come - the point is to say that there are no alternative choices.
OK so at some point in the very distant future I can see all TV being on demand and channels replaced with placeholders for the interactive stream they hide - but thats decades away yet.
