To blog the bloggers blog
April 17, 2007 by upyourego
A couple of months, when I first launched How to be a Geek (My Tumblog) the first post was titled It’s a meta world and was basically a couple of lines of text and a link to a blog post on the launching of the tubmlog.
For some reason the second paragraph of that post seems to be spreading around the tumblogosphere (nice word) as a quote.
So in the interest of spreading my own meta I thought I’d post it here as well.
While you’re on my blog please take note of the latest Twitter comment I posted about posting about my blog post about tumblr on tumblr and Twitter.
Reading it back it sounds like something straight out of the mouth of Sir Humphrey Appleby (Yes, Minister) or even a Bernard Wolly explanation of the response.
“Apparently, the fact that you needed to know was not known at the time that the now known need to know was known, therefore those that needed to advise and inform the Home Secretary perhaps felt the information he needed as to whether to inform the highest authority of the known information was not yet known and therefore there was no authority for the authority to be informed because the need to know was not, at that time, known or needed.”
Incidently I found out people were quoting me when I added How to be a Geek to my Technorati profile and checked the six blogs linking to my tumblog.
While on the subject of Technorati - there should be a collective influence button I can put on all my blogs - If I add the Tumblog to the Political blog to this blog I would get 49 instead of 20, 23 and 6.
Still there’s nothing like blogging about blogs, bloggers and blogging on a blog, tumblog, twitter or Jaiku to cleanse the soul.
