Joost Invites - want one?

I’m not sure if the number of Joost invites floating around are on the same level as Gmail reached yet but I’ve just been told I’ve got five to give to friends because of a brand new version of the player and more content.

Apparently - “To celebrate this we have given you 5 invitations - so you can invite your friends to watch with you. We’ve also added a load of new content, so you now have many more channels from which to choose, including some of the biggest brands
in entertainment.”

I have to go and photograph a football match tonight but when I get back I’ll download it, give it and try and let you know if it’s an improvement on the last version - the version I gave the rating ‘meh!’.

Also I’ll give an invite to the first five people to post - “I love your blog and would really like an invite because….” with a decent reason in the comment box of this story - you have to send the comment as well of course.

But then if Joost invites have reached the insane level Gmail invites got to just before it was open to everyone then I’m sure nobody will bother and I’ll give the invites to friends I know have no idea what Joost is

I love your blog and would really like an invite because..i am in Barcelona with no tv to watch apart from Spanish TV which is an awful thing. Imagine Noel’s House Party again and again and again on every channel.

I got a hit on your site when I searched Technorati for bloggers who might have a Joost invite they could spare.

One of my pet projects has been to view Internet televison feeds and video downloads to my home TV. Watching from my laptop is OK from my local cafe, but Battlestar Galactica still looks a lot better on my living room TV.

Apple TV looks like a good first cut; NETGEAR’s Digital Entertainer HD (EVA8000) might be even better. From what I’ve read of Joost, I have added it to my “must feed” list.

Back in the Gmail invite days when they were very hard to get, I bought some invitations on eBay for about $1 each. Joost invites are still selling for $10-15, so I presume they have not reached a saturation point.

I’d greatly appreciate a Joost invitation. Thanks in advance!

Hiya guys - OK so Joost invites for E-Rock, Raiden, Perry, Simonne and Anders.

I’ll be sending them as soon as I can get the latest version of Joost to start on my computer.

At the moment I’m suffering network errors but I haven’t forgotten you.
